The Wild in Marin 2025 Fungus Festival is set for Sunday, January 5, at the Mill Valley Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Festival includes an all-star line-up of speakers — Chris Hobbs (medicinal mushrooms); Eugenia Bone (the psychedelic mushroom experience); and David Arora (author of All that the Rain Promises and More).

There will be an extensive display of wild mushrooms picked from all over the Bay Area, along with expert mycologists to identify and discuss them. Bring your own specimens for identification in the Mush Room. There are hands-on workshops for mushroom dyeing and cultivation. Not to mention vendors of various mushroom-themed products like art, food and apparel. Finally, there will be mushroom-based food and drink for sale.
