If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about mushrooms, this is the event for you! The Mendocino Coast Mushroom Club is bringing together poets, authors, artists, craftspeople, propagators, chefs, foragers, guides, and the myco-curious to explore and celebrate mushrooms and their many uses.

Two nationally known authors will share their stories and knowledge. Don’t miss a conversation with Eugenia Bone, author of Mycophilia, as she discusses her latest book, Have A Nice Trip. Art Goodtimes, Poet Laureate of the Western Slope and one of the founders of the Telluride Mushroom Festival, will also be sharing poetry and stories from his eclectic life.

Game of Shrooms 2024 - Mushroom Scavenger Hunt

Game of Shrooms is a once a year world-wide art N seek event created by Attaboy. The next Game of Shrooms happens on June 8th, 2024. On that day, artists from all over the world hide their original mushroom-themed art works in public places then they give hints (often on social media) for others to find AND KEEP!

Cluster Mush will be hiding some fungal earrings and pins near the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center! Follow us on Instagram (@clustermush) for hints and info on what I am hiding!

Santa Cruz First Friday with Far West Fungi

Come on out to the mushroom shop for another fungus themed First Friday! We will be hosting Oakland-based 3D printing sculptor, Thomas Young, who is presenting his “Fungarium” of highly detailed, lifelike mushroom miniatures. All of his work will be available for purchase as jewelry at the event! Chat with the artist about his process, and pick our brains about the world of fungi, while enjoying complimentary wine and snacks.
